Japie's
Japie’s is a relaxed outdoor pub where you can enjoy a local beer and appetizer on weekends. A great place to relax with friends, catch up and enjoy the outdoor life.
Karakter Curaçao
Enjoying food with your feet into the sand? Visit Karakter Curaçao for the real beach lounge experience. The Coral Estate beach offers stunning views and fresh food. Perfect for a romantic dinner.
E Lanternu
Want to eat out deliciously? Then visit E Lanternu. A small restaurant with delicious cuisine. Note: it’s old-fashioned “cash only” here.
Koraal Rooftop Terrace
Above Karakter Curaçao restaurant sits another nice rooftop with a beautiful view of the sea: Koraal Rooftop Terrace Curaçao.
Marfa's Good Hangout (Williwood)
Another unique place is Marfa’s Good Hangout (Williwood), where you can taste the famous Williburger, made from goat meat. Goat meat is widely eaten in Curaçao. It is also used to make stews.
Shelterrock Paradise
If you’re looking for a night of karaoke and fun, Shelterrock Paradise is the perfect choice. Remember to book in advance as it fills up fast! They prepare a delicious meal in a coconut, filled with your favourite ingredients. The coconuts are put on the hot coals hours in advance, so they are perfectly ready when you arrive. The buffet to go with it makes it complete!
Hofi Mango
Hofi Mango is also close to our resort. This former mango and sugar plantation is now owned by Jandino Asporaat. Here you can enjoy beautiful walks, learn more about the history and even visit a distillery. There also is a restaurant where chef Willy Balentina rules the roost. Balentina learned his trade at star restaurants such as Librije and you can taste that in his dishes!
About us
We are Frank and Femmie, and together with our two cats, Noeki and Charley, we are living our dream in Curaçao. For years, we dreamed of running a small-scale resort on this island, and in 2025, that dream became a reality. Frank lived in Curaçao from 1993 to 2001, working as a diving instructor. During our vacations on the island, the desire to live here only grew stronger. But what would we do? That’s when the idea for our small resort was born.
In 2024, we sold everything in the Netherlands and moved with our cats to Curaçao. On our first day on the island, we saw the resort for sale, and our dream came true. We knew exactly what we wanted. We don’t have children, and although Femmie has worked with children in the Netherlands for years, we decided to create an ‘adults-only’ resort.
Our accommodations and tips for your group
In the idyllic Casa Bohemian Curaçao, we offer four types of accommodations, all with their own bathroom:
- Apartments: Ideal for families or small groups wanting to stay together. These apartments offer comfort and privacy, with two separate bedrooms for added convenience.
- Loft: Perfect for couples or two people looking for an open, bright space with a cozy, modern interior.
- Studio with veranda: For couples or solo travelers who prefer accommodation with a private outdoor space to enjoy the sun and the view.
No matter which accommodation you choose, you can count on a comfortable and relaxing stay.
