About us

We are Frank and Femmie, and together with our two cats, Noeki and Charley, we are living our dream in Curacao. For years, we dreamed of running a small-scale resort on this island, and in 2025, that dream became a reality. Frank lived in Curacao from 1993 to 2001, working as a diving instructor. During our vacations on the island, the desire to live here only grew stronger. But what would we do for a living? That’s when the idea for our small resort was born.

In 2024, we sold everything in the Netherlands and moved with our cats to Curacao. On our first day on the island, we saw the resort for sale, and our dream came true. We knew exactly what we wanted. We don’t have children, and although Femmie has worked with children in the Netherlands for years, we decided to create an ‘adults-only’ resort.

Our past in the Netherlands

Femmie worked as a hypnotherapist in the Netherlands, specializing in helping people overcome their fears. She was also a holistic and energetic therapist. Femmie no longer does one to one hypnotherapy sessions, but the holistic and energetic aspects are still part of her daily life. That’s why at our resort, you can meditate with Femmie or undergo energetic treatments such as Reiki, Kundalini Reiki, chakra healing, aura healing, sound bowl healing, and more. Holistic energy treatments by Femmie

Femmie worked in the Netherlands as a hypnotherapist, specializing in helping people overcome fears. She also worked as a holistic energy therapist.

Femmie no longer does one to one hypnotherapy sessions, but holistic and energetic work has become a permanent part of her daily life. Therefore, at our resort, you can meditate with Femmie or undergo an energetic treatment such as Reiki, Kundalini Reiki, chakra healing, aura healing, sound bowl healing, and more. Keep an eye on the noticeboard in the garden for dates of guided meditations by Femmie. Everyone is welcome to join for free.

The energetic treatments can be booked with Femmie. The treatment lasts up to an hour and a half, with the first part being a preliminary conversation where you can indicate what you would like to work on or any (physical or mental) issues you may have. The treatment itself lasts about 50 minutes. The cost for this treatment is €75.

Diving advice from Frank

Diving and snorkeling in Curacao is still a fantastic experience, thanks to the rich coral reefs. Here, you’ll discover colorful fish, sponges, starfish, and many other marine creatures. Unfortunately, coral around Curacao is declining, so it’s even more important to treat nature with respect. Luckily, most divers are aware of this. Almost every beach has a dive school. Frank, who was a dive instructor on the island for many years, has extensive knowledge of the best dive spots and is happy to share his tips. Additionally, we have convenient rinsing stations for your diving equipment and a place to dry your gear. Frank no longer teaches, but he is still qualified to do so.
